welcome to odd creek

an odd collective

Welcome to the odd creek collective, a gathering of artists, storytellers and creatives based in Central Pennsylvania.

From photographers to writers, multimedia artists and storytelling facilitators, we are a many-varied assortment.

Founded in 2024, the collective exists as a supportive cohort for artists who are otherwise mostly alone at their writing desk, in their studio or wandering out in the woods. Here we show our works, talk about what motivates us, and give like-minded others a way to find us.

We are united by a love of making art and leaving room in our work (and our lives) for weirdness, wildness and happy accidents.

We also firmly believe in the joys of time spent out in the open air, short strong shots of espresso, shooting the shit with friends and strangers alike, and of course, sleeping in as long as possible.

odd creek artists

Our founding members include:

hank adams – writer and facilitator. They combine their love of storytelling and gathering people together by facilitating narrative circles, group talks and goblin walks.

oddly – fiction writer, essayist and poet. Their work is deeply emotional, and very often weird.

heather adams – photographer, photo essayist and poet. Their work lies in capturing the unfolding moment.

loretta lucinda – a botanical art brand, run by an anonymous artist. Their mediums include cyanotype, pen and ink, and plaster casts.

say hello

at odd creek, we don’t believe in mastering our crafts. We believe only in going deeper and looking closer. Making art is a lifestyle, and a lifelong practice.
